We had the pleasure of meeting Melānie, creator & planner/decorator of Nautical Nuptials South Shore, at a wedding expo that she and her team hosted in 2019, we were there as a vendor to promote ourselves as well as photographing the décor, models, and the other vendors' products. We were pretty brand new to the wedding photography biz at the time but she welcomed us with open arms and was happy to include us. We were astonished by the stunning setup that her & her partner, Allan, had created for the expo so when we started to dream up our first ever styled shoot we knew we had to ask her to be involved.

Nautical Nuptials provided all of the décor for our Mahone Bay B&B styled shoot, including custom bouquets, tablescape, a hairpiece for one of our models, and a natural art instalment as a backdrop for the ceremony. Melānie's artistic, natural, and bohemian style fit right into our vision for the shoot and we were so incredibly lucky to have her on our team. Melānie & Allan set up the most magnificent pieces for us for our styled shoot and really helped us go from a simple concept to a fully realized and incredibly beautiful wedding.
Along with Melānie & Allan came a newer member of their team that we hadn't met yet, Salt & Herbs chef Jessika. Jessika brought her own kind of art to our styled shoot in the form of an enticing meal for our brides. All of our mouths were watering as she described her dish, the complicated but incredibly delicious beef wellington. Jessika also brought along some fresh bread and baklava from a local boulangerie that our models were more than happy to dig into. Just try not to lick the screen when you see these photos of the delectable dish!
Jessika provides event catering, private chef services, and even cooking classes!
