Cue all the mom tears ‘cause my little baby girl is not a baby anymore! My daughter, Ella, recently turned 2 years old and we celebrated the best way we know how, with cake and photos! We picked the perfect spot in Ella’s Grandma’s cute little backyard; with only about ten feet of space between Grandma’s house & shed, it was all we needed for this adorable mini setup. Ella took us a bit by surprise when she didn’t dive face first into her cake (it’s happened before!) but she still got her hands nice and deep into that brilliant yellow icing and made the most adorable mess. I am so incredibly grateful that I get to document these moments with my sweet little girl and have these memories to keep for years to come!
Even though she didn't fully destroy her cake she still made a pretty good little dent in the icing, and by the end her hands were fully covered in the yellow, sugary deliciousness.
